Mehmet Akif Ersoy’un eserlerinde “İttihâd-ı İslâm” düşüncesi

Abstract

Osmanlı İmparatorluğunun çökmeye başladığı dönemde devletin nasıl kurtarılacağı sorusu dönemin aydınlarınca neredeyse en çok tartışılan konulardan birisi olmuştur. Bu dönemde pek çok fikir ve düşünce akımı ortaya çıkmış, dönemin aydınları Osmanlıcılık, Türkçülük, Panİslâmizm, Sosyalizm gibi siyasal akımlar içerisinde çeşitli siyasi, kültürel ve sosyal faaliyetlerde bulunmuşlardır. Özellikle Tanzimat ve Meşrutiyet dönemlerinde ortaya çıkan fikir hareketleri Osmanlı’nın son döneminde birer siyasi laboratuvar işlevi görmüşlerdir. Bu anlamda dönemin önde gelen fikir hareketlerinden birisi de İslâmcılık ya da ortaya çıktığı adıyla İttihâd-ı İslâm’dır. Başlangıçta dernek faaliyeti ve dergi gibi çalışmalarla ortaya çıkan ve Osmanlı toplumu da dahil tüm İslâm ümmetinin kurtuluşunu, emperyalizm karşısında bağımsızlığını ve özgürlüğünü savunan İttihâd-ı İslâm düşüncesi Sırât-ı Müstakîm ve Sebîlürreşâd Dergileri etrafında toplanan aydınların da benimsediği ve uğrunda mücadele verdikleri bir siyasi fikri akımdır. Mehmed Âkif Ersoy da bu fikri akımın önemli temsilcilerinden birisi olup gerek imparatorluğun çöküş yıllarında gerekse Millî Mücâdele döneminde hem fikri hem de fiili anlamda etkili olmuş şahsiyetlerden birisidir. Bu çalışmada Mehmed Âkif’in şiirleri, düzyazıları ve tefsir yazıları üzerinden İttihâd-ı İslâm ve İslâmcılık düşüncesine olan katkısı ve söz konusu fikriyatla olan ilişkisi irdelenmiştir. Çalışmada yöntem olarak literatür taraması ve literatür analizi esas alınmış, Akif külliyatı içerisinde İttihâd-ı İslâm vurgusunun geçtiği fikri ve edebi eserler analiz edilerek Akif’in İslâmcılığının temel parametreleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.

In the period when the Ottoman Empire started to collapse, the question of how to save the state was one of the most discussed topics by the intellectuals of the period. During this period, many ideas and movements emerged. The intellectuals of the period engaged in various political, cultural, and social activities within political movements such as Ottomanism, Pan-Turkism, Pan-Islamism, and Socialism. The intellectual movements that emerged especially in the Tanzimat and Constitutional periods served as political laboratories in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. In this sense, one of the leading intellectual movements of the period was Islamism, or “Ittıhad-i Islam” as it was called when it emerged. The idea of “Ittihâd-ı Islam”, which emerged initially through activities such as associations and journals, and defending the independence and freedom of the entire Islamic society (ummah), including the Ottomans, against imperialism, is a political intellectual movement that was adopted and fought for by the intellectuals gathered around Sırât-ı Müstakîm and Sebîlürreşâd Journals. Mehmed Âkif Ersoy is one of the important representatives of this intellectual movement and is one of the figures who have been influential both intellectually and on the field during the collapse of the empire and the national struggle. In this study, Mehmed Âkif’s contribution to Ittihâd-ı Islam and Islamism through his poems, prose, and tafsir writings and his relationship with the said intellectual ideas were examined. The essential method of the study consists of a literatüre review and analysis of the related literature. The basic parameters of Akif’s Islamism were tried to be determined by analyzing the idea and literary works in which the emphasis of Ittihâd-ı Islam was placed in the corpus of Akif.
