Türkiye’deki büyükşehirlerin ihracat performanslarının CRITIC ve MAUT yöntemi ile değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Küreselleşmenin etkisiyle dünya genelinde ihracatın önemi artmaktadır. İhracat, uluslararası pazarlarda yer edinmek ve ekonomik büyüme sağlamak için önem arz etmektedir. Bu doğrultuda ülkeler ve işletmeler ihracat performanslarını artırmak amacıyla çeşitli stratejiler uygulamaktadır. Çünkü ülkeler için ekonomik büyümenin ve uluslararası pazarlarda söz sahibi olmasında ihracat performansı önem arz etmektedir. Bu bağlamda özellikle büyükşehirler nüfus yoğunluğu ve sanayileşmeden dolayı ülkelerin ihracat performansının önemli bir kısmını oluşturmaktadır. Bu nedenle çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’deki 30 büyükşehrin ihracat performansları değerlendirmek ve büyükşehirler ihracat performanslarına göre sıralamaktır. Bu doğrultuda uzman görüşüne dayanarak beş adet kriter belirlenmiştir. Bu kriterler büyükşehirlerin 2020 yılı ihracat rakamları, ihracat yapılan sektör sayısı, ihracat yapılan ülke sayısı, ihracat yapan firma sayısı ve antrepoların şehirlerde kapladığı alanlar (m2) olup büyükşehirlerin ihracat performanslarını etkilemektedir. Büyükşehirlerin ihracat performanslarının değerlendirilmesi CRITIC ve MAUT yöntemleri kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Belirlenen beş kriter ilk olarak CRITIC yöntemi ile ağırlıklandırılmış ve önem puanları hesaplanmıştır. Ardından MAUT yöntemi ile büyükşehirlerin ihracat performansları değerlendirilmiş ve büyükşehirler hesaplanan fayda değerlerine göre sıralanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre ihracat yapılan sektör sayısı en büyük kriter ağırlığına sahipken 2020 ihracat rakamları en düşük kriter ağırlığına sahiptir. Hesaplanan fayda değerlerine göre sırasıyla İstanbul, Kocaeli, İzmir, Bursa ve Ankara ihracat performansı en yüksek olan büyükşehirler olup yapılan sıralamada ilk beş sırada yer almaktadır. Muğla, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Erzurum ve Van ise en kötü ihracat performansına sahip büyükşehirlerdir. Yapılan sıralamada da bu büyükşehirler son beş sırada yer almaktadır.

The importance of exports is increasing worldwide with the effects of globalization. Export is significant for gaining advantages in international markets and achieving economic growth. In this context, countries and businesses are implementing various strategies to increase their export performance. Especially metropolitans constitute an important part of the export performance of countries due to population density and industrialization. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate and rank of 30 metropolitans in Turkey according to their export performance. Accordingly, five criteria were determined based on expert opinion. These criteria which affect the export performance of metropolitan are the export numbers of metropolitans in 2020, the number of exported sectors, the number of countries exported, the number of exporting companies and the areas covered by warehouses in metropolitan (m2 ). The evaluation of the export performances of metropolitans were carried out by using CRITIC and MAUT methods. The five criteria that were determined first weighted with the CRITIC method and their criterion weights were calculated. Then, the export performances of metropolitans were evaluated with the MAUT method, and the metropolitan were ranked according to the calculated benefit values. As a result, while the number of export sectors has the highest criteria weight, 2020 export numbers has the lowest criteria weight. According to the calculated benefit values, respectively, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Izmir, Bursa and Ankara are the metropolitans which have the best exporting performance. In addition, Muğla, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Erzurum and Van are the metropolitans which have the worst export performance.
